05/19/2010 - 710 ESPN Radio Host Fights in Strikeforce on June 16th

May 18, 2010 – MMA WORLDWIDE, CYPRESS, CA – The multi-media company today announced that ESPN radio host RJ Clifford will compete in the world class mixed martial arts (MMA) promotion, STRIKEFORCE, which takes place at the Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE in Los Angeles, California on Wednesday, June 16th. Clifford is the host of MMA Worldwide Live, which covers all facets of the MMA industry, on 710ESPN (call letters: KSPN AM). But when the cage door shuts, his gift for gab will be traded for a quick jab, fancy footwork and a strong wrestling pedigree. Clifford holds a professional record of 3-1, with STRIKEFORCE being the biggest opportunity of his fighting career. “I feel honored to compete in the same promotion that top fighters in the world call home,” said Clifford. “Southern California is my home and I hope to put on a great show against my opponent (Conor Heun) in June.” Clifford is Editor-in-Chief for both MMA Worldwide magazines (TapouT and MMA Worldwide), and hosts MMA Worldwide Live from 10:00PM to 11:00PM on Friday nights.
